THE CHALLENGE
Located along Bluff Road in East Bay, this waterfront property experienced significant shoreline erosion caused by prolonged periods of high water. Over time, the soil surrounding the deck's structural support posts washed away, leaving the posts undermined and deteriorating. Without timely repairs, the deck's stability and safety were at risk.
OUR SOLUTION
The DFR Services team carefully evaluated the existing support system and developed a repair plan focused on restoring the deck's structural integrity. We removed the compromised support posts and installed new structural posts designed to provide long-term stability while withstanding the challenging conditions often found along Northern Michigan shorelines.
